I spent my last weekend on Bali at Legian beach. At that time Legian and Kuta were quite separate; connected only by a muddy track. I enjoyed magic mushroom omelets and pizzas for a day or two and then came down with Dengue Fever. I was horrible ill and spent the days wandering around very hot Kuta wearing jeans and a down jacket drinking fruit juices constantly. I was still quite ill when I boarded my flight for Hong Kong.
